恭喜發財!




Happy Chinese New Year! :-)

Looks like the Chinese new year festival is 2 weeks long, so I'll be over there for some of it anyway, like the lantern Festival :-)

Yeah, that is the longest holiday (think of it like US' Thanks Giving). Not many shops are open, so boring for some folks as it is usually time to be with family. Not sure about Beijing.
Saw the Wishing Tree in Lam Tsuen, Tai Po on the Chinese News. No throwing at the tree tho this year, cos it's quite damaged!).
Try the treats they have for Chinese New Year, it's not often you get to try Chinese sweets.
Just heard the run up to Chinese New Year, fresh live chickens were selling upto HK$200 each, normally priced at HK$45-50.
"Gung Hei Fat Choi!" And also "Bo Bo Sheung Sing".
